Noting that they are very obsessed with customers, The Chief Executive Officer, Termii, Emmanuel Gbolade, said effective communication between businesses and customers fosters impact.
Emmanuel who spoke at the second edition of the Termii Annual Elevate Conference held at the Zone Tech Park in Gbagada, Lagos, Nigeria, said their duty is to strengthen engagements between customers and businesses.
Speaking further, Termii CEO said, “Ensuring that the customers can voice their complaints effectively and the businesses can communicate effectively to the customer on happenings around that portal or platform is very crucial…Because sometimes it stands between life and death… and that’s why strengthening communication is very important to us.”
The event which featured insightful keynote speeches, engaging panel sessions, live demos, an app launch and exhibitions gave attendees an opportunity to gain valuable insights that will help them elevate their customer communication strategies.

Toyin who talked about the essence of being emotionally connected with customers to generate a desired response further counselled customer service professionals to first establish the problems, empathise with the customers, apologise were necessary and promise that they will fix the challenge.
How Termii automates responses to customers
Another speaker, Tomisin Araoye, Head of Performance Marketing at MoniePoint said there is a handshake between Termii and Moniepoint that automates responses to customers. Talking about Termii’s role in the growth of Moniepoint she said, “Termii’s role is about people feeling safe. There is something about being able to communicate with the people directly…”
Tomisin also noted that “Termii provides a system where we can use codes to put in personal data so that it is more personalised for customers.” She looked forward to more growth, stability and reliability with Termii.
Termii and Waystream: What you need to know
Gbenga Sodunke, CEO of Waystream, one of the exhibitors present at the Termii Elevate conference 2.0, noted that Termii’s target audience is a section of Waystream’s target audience.
Waystream, launched to the public in November 2022 is a live audio streaming and podcast platform built by the community and for the community. It is the first African platform to combine live audio streaming with podcasts.
Gbenga also revealed that Waystream helps brands to amplify themselves to their potential or existing customers. He hinted that they are looking forward to more partnerships with Termii.
