5 Types of People You Should Not Date to Avoid Being Murdered
The way people in relationships are being killed by their prospective partner is making single people decide to stay single instead of dying in a relationship.
Just last year, over four women were killed by their boyfriends, and this year, we already have a murder case.
Business Elites went into the streets of Lagos and asked single people if they were still looking to be in a relationship during this pandemic of boyfriends/girlfriends killing their significant other.
A 25-year-old lady, Damilola Philips, expressed fear about dating in light of the alarming rise in ritual killings.
“I am single, but I’m terrified of entering a relationship. The news of boys killing their girlfriends is terrifying. Good guys seem rare these days,” she said.
A student at UNILAG, Ukpono Ibanga, while speaking on general insecurity in society, said, “I don’t want anyone to destroy my parents’ joy.”
Another lady, Oluwatobiloba Ajiboye, 30, also shared her concern over how easily women had become targets for ritualists.
“These killings show that some men never truly loved these women; the relationship was just a cover for their sinister plans,” Ajiboye said.
She also warned that materialism and dating fraudsters, often referred to as Yahoo boys, increased the risks for women.
Here are 5 people to avoid dating in 2025:
People who will do anything to make fast money
In as much as everyone is hustling to be rich, you see those people who will do anything—I mean anything—to make money fast. You should run as far as you can from them.
They will kill/sacrifice anyone, including their parents and siblings, just to make money as soon as possible.
In fact, some of them sacrifice their lives by agreeing to live for 5 or 6 years, after which they either die or run mad. If you know someone like that, leave that person as soon as possible.
People who are abusers
You might think the person will change. Why would you even think of that when the person is constantly beating the hell out of you or saying words that hurt you constantly?
If your long-term goal is to live long, then when you see any form of abuse in your relationship, be it physical, verbal, or emotional abuse, just pack up your bags and leave because that partner of yours will end up killing you.
People who are extremely jealous
Jealousy is good; it makes you feel special that your partner gets jealous when he/she sees you interacting with the opposite sex.
Now, it gets dangerous when the person becomes extremely jealous; he/she will want to hurt you for making them feel that way by constantly beating you or end up killing you.
People who are obsessed
Have you ever been stalked before? Obsessed people do not want you out of their sights. These people will stalk you, some even put a tracker on your phone or car, so that they will follow you everywhere.
These obsessed people are some of the most dangerous people on earth; they will make sure you are doing what they tell you to do, if not, you are a dead person.
People who are narcissists
This person will only care about themselves and their own needs. They will act superior, entitled, and arrogant. They will demand your admiration and attention, but they will not give you any in return.
They will exploit you, criticize you, and gaslight you. They will make you feel invisible and insignificant. This won’t physically kill you; you might get depressed and commit suicide.
