7 Celebrities Who Adopted Children

Becoming a parent doesn’t always follow the same path. For some, it begins with the cries of a newborn in the delivery room. For others, it starts with a signature on an adoption form and a promise to love. Both journeys are valid. Both are beautiful.

In Nigeria, conversations around adoption are gradually shifting from whispers to open celebration, thanks, in part, to celebrities who are proudly embracing it. In a culture that often places so much emphasis on biological lineage, these stars are showing that love, not blood, makes a family.

Here are 7 Nigerian celebrities who chose adoption and have inspired countless others by doing so.
