Airtel Nigeria has integrated more than 1,000 new 5G sites across the country over the last 12 months to accelerate high-speed connectivity in major urban centres.
The network build-out is part of a rapid expansion strategy designed to extend 5G coverage across Nigeria’s major cities and densely populated urban areas, according to a report by Nairametrics.
The deployment marks a significant increase in the company’s infrastructure footprint, focusing on improving data speeds and network capacity for users in high-traffic locations.
