The All Progressives Congress (APC) has a new leader. At a national executive committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja on Thursday, the party formally announced that the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Nentawe Yilwatda, is its new national chairman.
Party officials and state delegates gathered to hear the results and map out a fresh strategy ahead of the 2027 general election.
