Frank Edoho is a TV personality, photographer and filmmaker. He was the host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, a famous Nigerian television show.
Frank attended the University of Calabar and majored in animal science. While in high school, he performed as Mc Frank, a rap artist. He began his broadcasting career as a presenter at the Cross River State Broadcasting Corporation after college, and he also hosted a Breakfast Television show for the Nigerian Television Authority, Channel 9, Calabar.
In 1999, Frank went to Metro FM 97.6, where he hosted radio shows for the station. The popular show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, on the other hand, catapulted him into the spotlight. in addition to being a TV host, he is a voice-over artist, photographer, producer, and director.
Edoho has declined a new contract to host Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? After that, he was announced alongside Emmanuel Essien known as Mannie as the presenter of a worldwide TV show, The Price Is Right. Frank is known for his eloquent voice and has done voice-overs for Vogue Fruit Juice, First City Monument Bank, Unilever Nigeria Plc, International Bank Plc, and Elizade Toyota for radio jungles.
He has received several awards including the Youth Ambassador Award by Fly Networks, Best TV presenter of the year 2006 by City People Magazine Award, and Male TV presenter of the year 2008 by Nigeria Kids Choice Award.
Frank Edoho was married to Katherine Obiang, with whom he had three children. In 2011 they divorced.
He later married Sandra Onyenuchenuya, his second wife. They welcomed their first child -Frank’s fourth- on April 2, 2014, and their second kid was born in the United States two years later.
His Exit from Who wants to be a millionaire?
Frank Edoho helmed the popular TV game show for 13 years from 2004 to 2017, but he quit on September 2, 2017. After failing to reach an agreement with Ultima Studios, he announced his resignation on his own Twitter profile. Edoho said that he was “dropped” by the show’s organisers, claiming that he “declined the offer” that was made to him.
