Full List of Disqualified APC Senatorial Aspirants

The All Progressives Congress has released the names of 47 senatorial aspirants who were not cleared to take part in its forthcoming Senate primary elections.

The party announced the list on Monday in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

According to the APC, the screening exercise was carried out by the party’s screening committees in line with its procedures and guidelines.

The development comes as the ruling party continues preparations for its senatorial primaries across the country. Several aspirants from states including Bayelsa, Oyo, Nasarawa, Rivers, Zamfara, Kwara, Plateau and the Federal Capital Territory were affected.

APC Primaries Face Fresh Attention

The release of the list is expected to generate more political reactions within the APC, especially from aspirants and supporters who may challenge the outcome of the screening process.

As the party moves closer to its Senate primaries, attention will now shift to whether the affected aspirants will accept the decision, appeal the outcome or push back against the party’s screening committees.
