Ghana’s annual inflation rate slowed to 4.6% in July 2026, marking the first decline in consumer price growth since March.
The figure represents a decrease from the 5.3% inflation rate recorded in June, according to data reported by Nairametrics.
This slowdown indicates a cooling in the pace of price increases for goods and services across the country, breaking a persistent trend of rising costs seen throughout the second quarter of the year.
The July data marks a significant shift in Ghana’s price stability, as it is the first time consumer price growth has eased in four months.
