Happening Now: Fire Guts Oando Tank Farm in Lagos

A tank farm at Marine Beach, Apapa area of Lagos State, belonging to Nigerian oil company, Oando, is currently on fire, the Federal Fire Service confirmed on Thursday afternoon.

The firefighters said they are battling to put out the raging fire while warning members of the public to avoid the route.

Oando staff are said to have been evacuated from the facility.

The cause of the fire was not ascertained as the time of filing this report.
