Is the Title Race Over Now or There’s Hope for Arsenal?

It’s hard to argue against it now if Liverpool is going to win the league or there is still a little hope for Arsenal. After a dominating 2-0 win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, it’s hard to see anyone stopping them. Liverpool now holds an 11-point lead at the top, with just 11 games left to play.

The fans, drenched in rain but full of joy, were already singing “We’re going to win the league” with barely 90 seconds left on the clock. And honestly, they might be right.

This wasn’t just another victory for Liverpool. It was the kind of performance that has marked their season. They’ve only lost once in the league all year—at home to Nottingham Forest.

With such a strong record and such a huge advantage, it’s hard to see how anyone can close that gap, especially with only a few matches left to play.

The real turning point came just days before, when Arsenal lost to West Ham. That defeat sealed it: the title race was all but decided. Even though mathematically there are still points up for grabs, Liverpool’s form and dominance this season mean they can afford to slip up a little and still hold onto that lead.

Arsenal might still have a game in hand, but that’s becoming less and less important as each week goes by. They’ve shown signs of cracking under pressure, while Liverpool continues to march forward with relentless consistency.

With seven of their remaining 11 games at Anfield, it’s hard to imagine them stumbling badly enough for Arsenal to catch up.

As Liverpool fans begin to dream of what’s to come, it’s clear: this is their season. The title race isn’t just close to over—it might already be decided.
