Kizz Daniel’s “Twe Twe Tops the List of Most Streamed Songs in Nigeria in Q1 of 2024
The official Nigerian music chart publication, TurnTable Charts, just dropped the stats for the most-streamed songs of the year so far, and Kizz Daniel’s “Twe Twe” remix featuring Davido landed the coveted number-one spot!
This isn’t surprising news for fans who’ve had “Twe Twe” stuck in their heads since its release in late 2023. The catchy tune, coupled with the star power of Davido on the remix, proved to be an irresistible combo for Nigerian music lovers.
But Kizz Daniel doesn’t stop there! His solo track “Too Busy To Bae” also snagged a spot on the top 10, proving he’s a hit-making machine in 2024.
While Kizz Daniel dominated the charts, there were plenty of other amazing artists keeping Nigerians entertained. Chike and Mohbad’s energetic collab “Egwu” secured the number two spot, while rising star Seyi Vibez landed two tracks in the top five with “Cana” and “Different Pattern”.
It wasn’t all Nigerian dominance, though. South African group Titom, Yuppe, S.N.E, and EeQue made a splash with their viral hit “Twala Bam” at number ten.
This first half of 2024 has been a fantastic showing for Nigerian music, with a great mix of established stars and exciting newcomers. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
