NECO Releases 2024 SSCE Results: How to Check Your Results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the 2024 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) internal results. 

This announcement was made on Thursday, September 19, by NECO’s Registrar/Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Wushishi, during a press briefing in Minna.

In his statement, Professor Wushishi also revealed that NECO had blacklisted 21 supervisors in 12 states and de-recognized one school in Ekiti state for mass cheating in three subjects.

 How to Check NECO 2024 Results Online:

Here are the simple steps to access your NECO 2024 results:

1. Visit the NECO Portal: Go to (https://www.neco.gov.ng), which is the official platform for checking your results.

2. Select ‘NECO Results’: On the homepage, click on the ‘NECO Results’ option to navigate to the result-checking section. Alternatively, you can go straight to the result portal at [https://results.neco.gov.ng/].

3. Enter Your Examination Details: Provide the year of the exam (2024), exam type (June/July or Nov/Dec), and your unique examination number.

4. Input Your Token: Purchase a token directly from the NECO website or from authorized sellers, then enter the token in the appropriate field.

5. View Your Results: After entering all the required details, click the ‘Check Results’ button. Your results will be displayed on the screen within a few seconds.

Buying the Token

Tokens can be purchased from the official NECO website, which is the safest and most reliable option.  

Alternatively, you can buy from authorised retailers. Be sure to use approved vendors to avoid fraud.

Token Usage

Each token allows you to check a candidate’s result only once, with up to five attempts maximum.  

Once your token access is exhausted, any further checks will be required using NECO’s E-Verify Result Verification Portal for confirmation.
