Nigerian Air Force Drone Crashes Near Kaduna

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) announced that one of its drones crashed near Kaduna on Monday morning.

The NAF spokesperson, Edward Gabkwet, explained this in a statement in Abuja, clarifying that it was a drone and not a helicopter that crashed.

He stated that the drone was starting its mission near Rumji village in Kaduna when it crashed. Luckily, since the drone does not carry people, no one was hurt.

Gabkwet mentioned that the crash happened shortly after the drone left the ground, about 15 km away from its base.

An investigation is already underway to find out why the crash happened.

He also assured everyone that this accident would not stop their ongoing work.
