Noor Takaful Insurance Limited and Noor Health Limited have hosted their 2026 Partners’ Engagement Forum in Lagos to strengthen ties with insurance brokers and business partners across Nigeria. Under the theme “One Partnership, Shared Success,” the forum aimed to consolidate market growth through increased collaboration and mutual trust between insurers and intermediaries.
The event brought together key industry players to discuss strategies for improving service delivery and expanding the reach of insurance and health products. Leadership from both Noor Takaful and Noor Health emphasized that the synergy between the companies and their partners is the primary driver for navigating the complexities of the Nigerian financial services market.
Rilwan Sunmonu, Managing Director of Noor Takaful Insurance Limited, and Taofik Sholabi, General Manager of Operations, were among the executives leading the discussions. Ismaeel Ayanlere, Chief Business Development Officer of Noor Takaful, also participated, focusing on the importance of integrated business development strategies.
As part of the programme, the companies recognised several intermediaries for their exceptional performance and contribution to the group’s success. Award recipients included Saheed Egbeyemi, Managing Director of Hogg Robinson Nigeria Limited, and Dr Bola Azeez, Group Chairman of First Adequate Benefits Insurance Brokers Limited.
Strengthening the Takaful ecosystem
The forum addressed the growing demand for Sharia-compliant insurance models in Nigeria. Takaful, which operates on the principles of mutual assistance and risk-sharing, requires a high degree of transparency and ethical engagement to maintain investor and consumer confidence. By hosting these forums, Noor Takaful and Noor Health aim to ensure that brokers are well-equipped to communicate these specific value propositions to the public.
In the Nigerian insurance landscape, brokers act as the essential link between complex financial products and the end consumer. The engagement highlighted that the ability of these partners to provide accurate information and efficient service directly affects the growth of the Takaful sector. The discussions focused on streamlining processes to ensure that policy issuance and claims settlements remain efficient and reliable.
The companies indicated that the feedback and insights gathered from the brokers during the forum would be used to refine their operational models for the upcoming fiscal year. The aim is to create a more seamless experience for partners, reducing administrative bottlenecks that often hinder business growth in the insurance industry.
The event concluded with a commitment from Noor Takaful and Noor Health to continue investing in partner support systems and training to ensure that the objectives of the 2026 business cycle are met through unified market efforts.
