NYSC Announces Passing-Out Date for 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Corps Members

The National Youth Service Corps has approved Thursday, July 9, 2026, as the official passing-out date for 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I corps members across the country.

The scheme announced the date in a statement shared on its official X handle on Wednesday. The statement was signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.

According to the NYSC, activities leading to the passing-out ceremony began on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

The scheme said the exercise would be low-key and would end with the distribution of Certificates of National Service to eligible corps members in all local government areas nationwide.

The activities include Job Advisory and Counselling sessions by the NYSC and other relevant agencies, registration and clearance of corps members by Local Government Inspectors, and the signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.

NYSC also stated that only corps members who have successfully completed all requirements of the national service programme would receive their Certificates of National Service.

The Director-General of the NYSC, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu congratulated the outgoing corps members and wished them a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.

He also urged them to uphold the values of the scheme and remain good ambassadors of the NYSC as they move into life after national service.
