Presidency Announces Imminent Cabinet Reshuffle
The presidency has announced that changes to the cabinet are expected soon. Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, shared this information during a press conference at the State House on Wednesday, September 25.
Onanuga, alongside O’tega Ogra, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, mentioned that there is no set date for when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will implement these changes. It’s important to note that President Tinubu appointed his current ministers in August of the previous year.
In addition, President Tinubu has directed his ministers to more actively communicate and promote the successes of his administration.
Onanuga pointed out that while some ministers are reluctant to make public statements, there is a perception among many Nigerians that the president is not achieving much, despite the government making considerable progress. President Tinubu has stressed the importance of his ministers focusing on publicising these achievements.
