President Tinubu Begins Presentation of 2025 Budget

President Bola Tinubu has begun presenting the 2025 budget at a joint session of the National Assembly. He entered the House of Representatives chamber around 12:25 pm.

The session started with the National Anthem, followed by prayers from both Muslim and Christian members.

In other news, security has been increased at the National Assembly today as President Tinubu presents the budget. The Federal Executive Council recently approved a 2025 budget plan that includes spending N47.96 trillion.

The budget focuses on improving security, healthcare, and infrastructure. It aims to lower inflation from 34% to 15% and gives extra attention to health and education. The budget also plans to increase funding for the military and police to help keep the country safe.
