Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, popularly known as SMA Gold, has rallied leaders and key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Badagry Division to close ranks and strengthen party unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ajose made the call during a stakeholders’ meeting that brought together apex leaders, party candidates, elected representatives and other prominent members of the APC from across Badagry Division.
The meeting focused on strengthening unity within the party as political activities and consultations continue to gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
More than 200 party leaders reportedly attended the gathering, representing the different local governments and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) within the Badagry Division.

Addressing the gathering, Ajose said unity among APC leaders and stakeholders would be critical to the party’s chances in future elections.
He said the engagement formed part of wider consultations with party leaders across Lagos State, stressing the need for leaders in Badagry to speak with one voice and work collectively.
According to him, a united political structure would not only strengthen the APC but also improve Badagry’s ability to pursue its political and developmental interests within Lagos State.
Ajose expressed satisfaction with the turnout at the meeting, noting that leaders from across the division responded to the call despite the short notice.

Those reported to have attended included the APC apex leader in Badagry-West LCDA, Joseph Bamgbose; the member representing Badagry Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Sesi Whingan; and the member representing Badagry Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Bonu Solomon.
Other participants included local government and LCDA chairmen, ward leaders and other party stakeholders from across the division.
