Submissions Now Open for 11th AMVCA on Africa Magic

If you love African movies and TV shows, the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) is back, and this time it’s celebrating its 11th edition. Africa Magic, in partnership with MultiChoice, has officially opened the doors for entries. 

This means that filmmakers, actors, producers, and creators now have the chance to be recognized for their amazing work in the entertainment industry.

Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and Channels for MultiChoice, shared the exciting announcement. She confirmed that submissions started on Monday and will be open until January 31, 2025. That’s a whole month of opportunity for creative minds to showcase their work!

The AMVCA is known as one of the biggest and most important awards for African films, TV shows, and entertainment. 

It’s a chance to recognize the most talented actors, directors, producers, and everyone behind the scenes who make African storytelling so special. If you’ve seen any awesome African film, series, or TV movie between December 1 and December 31, 2024, this is your chance to submit it for a shot at an award!
