In our hyper-connected world, social media has become a dominant force, shaping everything from global communication to personal interactions.

The rise of social media isn’t just a cultural phenomenon but also a significant indicator of how different nations engage with the digital realm.

Enter the Social Media Engagement Index, a newly minted metric that reveals which countries are leading the charge in social media usage. Here is the index of our collective digital lives, ranking countries based on their online engagement, mobile internet speeds, and time spent on social media platforms.

China

In the world of social media, China stands as the undisputed leader with an exceptional score of 97.9 on the Social Media Engagement Index.
