Victor Osimhen, Galatasaray Teammates Gifted With Electric Luxury Cars
Nigerian football star Victor Osimhen and his Galatasaray teammates are now cruising in style, thanks to a special partnership between the Turkish club and Chinese luxury car brand Hongqi.
Each player has been gifted a fully electric SUV, the Hongqi E-HS9, worth millions of naira.
While Osimhen is away on international duty with Nigeria, his teammate Yunus Akgun was spotted enjoying the futuristic ride on the streets of Istanbul.
A video shared by Hongqi’s Turkish representative, Yenikoy Motors, shows Akgun and other players receiving their vehicles, giving fans a glimpse of the club’s new luxury fleet.
The Hongqi E-HS9 is a full-size intelligent electric SUV, combining advanced technology with high performance. It is the world’s first commercial vehicle to feature LTE-V2X technology, which ensures better communication between vehicles and their surroundings, offering enhanced safety and driving assistance.
The SUV’s design focuses on luxury, sustainability, and a distinguished driving experience.
Founded in 1958, Hongqi is China’s oldest passenger car brand, now owned by FAW Group. Galatasaray signed the partnership under the guidance of Yenikoy Motors in Turkey, ensuring that all first-team players receive the E-HS9 for the rest of the season.
This luxury gift comes just months after Osimhen himself acquired the 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a V12-powered SUV valued at nearly N900 million.
Known for its sleek design, handcrafted interiors, and cutting-edge technology, the Cullinan is considered one of the most luxurious vehicles in the world.
With Osimhen set to join his teammates in Turkey soon, fans have already expressed excitement over the electric SUVs, praising both the club and the players for embracing sustainability without compromising style.
