What Things Aspirants Need for 2027 Elections – ADC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has made it clear that only candidates who meet its four main standards will be allowed to contest under its platform in the 2027 elections.

Speaking during the party’s National Working Committee meeting in Abuja, the ADC National Chairman, Senator David Mark, said the party will focus on aspirants who have character, competence, courage, and discipline.

According to him, these four pillars represent the kind of leadership the ADC wants to offer Nigerians, one that stands for integrity, teamwork, and accountability.

Mark explained that the ADC is not just preparing to win elections but to build a political system that lasts beyond 2027. He said the goal is to create a party that values people, policies, and results instead of personal interests.

“We will field only credible and viable candidates who meet our four-pillar standard. Nigerians will accept nothing less,” Mark said.

He added that while other parties focus on individuals, the ADC will stand on teamwork, internal democracy, and respect for its constitution.

Meanwhile, conversations are already heating up ahead of 2027, with reports linking top figures like Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rotimi Amaechi to the ADC. Political observers believe the party’s strict standards may reshape how aspirants prepare for the next general elections.
