In her Instagram story, the daughter of Nigeria’s billionaire, Femi Otedola wrote, “Plix, can someone tell me how I can become one of the backup singers for @asakemusic?” 

Asake who has been rated as one of the top singers in Nigeria’s music industry gained popularity in 2022 with his hit song “Omo Ope.” He has since released several other successful tracks and is known for his powerful vocals and unique style. On the flip side, DJ Cuppy has collaborated with several top artists in the past and is hopeful that being a backup singer to the YBNL artist will be her next line of achievement.
