Coalition Supports Kemi Badenoch; Igboho Criticizes Shettima

The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) in Nigeria has shown support for British politician Kemi Badenoch’s recent statements about Nigeria.

CUPP’s National Secretary, Chief Ameh Peter, said on Sunday that Kemi Badenoch’s words reflect the real problems Nigerians deal with every day.

CUPP believes that Kemi Badenoch’s tough comments point out the urgent need for change in Nigeria.

They say her remarks shine a light on the widespread corruption and poor policies that have led to a lot of poverty and few opportunities in the country.

At the same time, Yoruba Nation activist Chief Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, has asked President Bola Tinubu to speak to his Vice President, Kashim Shettima.

Shettima has been critical of Kemi Badenoch for her negative comments about corruption in Nigeria and for focusing on her Yoruba roots while ignoring Northern Nigeria.

Igboho suggested that President Tinubu, who is also Yoruba, should tell Shettima to concentrate on his job as Vice President instead of arguing with Badenoch.

Igboho shared his past experiences under former President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, where he was persecuted for speaking against issues caused by Fulani herdsmen.

Igboho also pointed out that the current government is not tackling the severe problems like economic trouble, poverty, and insecurity that are affecting Nigerians.

He believes that Shettima should stop spending time attacking Badenoch and focus on more important national issues.

Igboho ended by urging President Tinubu to guide Shettima to pay attention to resolving Nigeria’s big challenges rather than getting involved in unnecessary disputes.
