GIG Mobility has joined The Next Titan as the official mobility partner for the entrepreneurial reality show’s 11th season.
The partnership is designed to support Nigeria’s grassroots business ecosystem by handling transportation for contestants, production crews and event organisers throughout the programme.
Filming a nationwide reality show involves moving people between boot camps, events and production locations. By taking responsibility for this process, GIG Mobility will allow the competing founders to focus on their pitches, market validation and business development.
The companies unveiled the partnership during a pre-season press briefing and media brunch at the Lagos Marriott Hotel in Ikeja GRA. Senior corporate executives, media professionals, former contestants and other stakeholders in Nigeria’s venture-building ecosystem attended the event.
Speaking at the press conference, GIG Mobility Chief Operating Officer Jude Odum said physical mobility plays an important role in commerce, enterprise creation and national economic development.
“We invest in entrepreneurs because mobility enables opportunity. At GIG Mobility, moving people has never just been about reaching a physical destination, it is about what that movement makes possible. Somewhere within this competition are visionary founders who will build impactful enterprises and create employment for thousands of Nigerians,” Odum stated.
Under the sponsorship agreement, GIG Mobility will provide dedicated vehicles for transportation throughout the project.
The company will transport candidates attending the Top 50 Entrepreneurship Bootcamp. It will also manage point-to-point travel for the finalists, executive coaches and technical crews across several filming locations during the 10-week programme.

How GIG Mobility Supports Entrepreneurs
Mide Akinlaja, Executive Producer of The Next Titan, described the partnership as a natural operational fit.
Running a nationwide television production across several commercial hubs comes with serious logistical demands. Akinlaja said such a project requires a transport partner with proven infrastructure and experience.
He added that GIG Mobility’s role goes beyond gaining brand visibility. The company has also introduced initiatives aimed at helping young Nigerians earn income, build assets and access commercial opportunities.
GIG Mobility highlighted three programmes connected to this broader goal:
Own a Vehicle: The Drive- o-Own Scheme allows high-performing interstate drivers, known as Owner Captains, to take full ownership of their vehicles after meeting set commercial targets.
Earn Through Referrals: The GIGM Ambassador Scheme allows individuals and micro-entrepreneurs to earn commissions by booking interstate bus tickets through the company’s mobile application.
Supporting Young Nigerians: The ESA Foundation focuses on youth education, community empowerment and social impact projects across Nigeria.
Season 11 of The Next Titan carries the theme “Be Relentless.”
The season will begin with regional auditions in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Enugu. Candidates who pass the first stage will proceed to the Top 50 Bootcamp.
Twenty finalists will then enter the Titan House for 10 weeks. During that period, they will take part in commercial tasks, boardroom exercises, business simulations and pitch sessions as they compete for the ₦50 million grand prize.
What This Means for SMEs
Why Logistics Matters: Early stage product and service businesses often treat logistics as something to address later. This partnership shows why dependable transport and supply networks can shape a company’s ability to operate and grow.
New Ways to Earn: Programmes such as the GIGM Ambassador Scheme give micro entrepreneurs a low-cost way to earn additional income without making a major capital investment.
Growing Through Fleet Partnerships: Startups facing distribution challenges can learn from the way large transport companies manage vehicles and other assets. Hire-purchase and asset-sharing models can help businesses expand without carrying the full cost of ownership from the start.
Access to Mentors and Business Networks: Well supported entrepreneurship platforms can give early-stage founders access to mentors, corporate networks and operational resources that may otherwise be difficult to secure.
Conclusion
GIG Mobility’s support will address one of the major operational challenges involved in producing Season 11 of The Next Titan: moving contestants, coaches and production teams between locations.
The partnership also shows how established African companies can support early-stage entrepreneurs with more than funding or publicity. They can provide the infrastructure founders need to test ideas, build networks and develop their businesses.
For the entrepreneurs entering the Titan House, reliable transport means one less operational problem to manage while they compete for the ₦50 million prize.
