Iran-Israel Dispute: China Brings a Big Allegation Against Trump

China is openly calling out former U.S. President Donald Trump for making the situation worse. As Israel and Iran’s long-standing rivalry spilled into a direct military confrontation, Trump’s controversial remarks have drawn sharp criticism, not just from political commentators, but also from global powers like China.

Last week, Israel carried out a surprise air campaign targeting multiple military and nuclear sites in Iran. The attack, which killed top Iranian military officials including the head of the country’s Revolutionary Guards and the commander of its key war headquarters, marked one of the most aggressive moves in the decades-long cold conflict between the two nations.

In response, Iran has vowed retaliation, and the region is bracing for what could become a larger, more destructive conflict.

Amid this fragile moment, Donald Trump took to social media to issue a strongly worded warning, telling people to leave Tehran “immediately.” The post, which some saw as unnecessarily provocative, sparked global concern and led to a direct response from Beijing.

China didn’t hold back. The Chinese Foreign Ministry, through spokesperson Guo Jiakun, accused Trump of “pouring oil on the fire” instead of helping to ease tensions. In his words,

“Fanning the flames, making threats, and increasing pressure will not de-escalate the situation. It will only deepen the crisis.”

China’s embassy in Tehran also joined in, announcing that it was working with Iranian authorities to evacuate Chinese citizens from the region and urging all nationals in Iran to leave as soon as possible.

The critique comes as China tries to position itself as a calm voice in the face of rising instability. Beijing’s message was clear: the United States, particularly under Trump’s influence, is not helping to stabilize the region but instead playing a role in aggravating it.

Meanwhile, in Nigeria, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, weighed in on Trump’s remarks. Once an admirer of the former U.S. president, Fani-Kayode expressed disappointment, saying Trump should let Israel and Iran resolve their issues without external interference that could worsen the conflict.

With both countries holding their ground, Iran vowing a harsh response and Israel continuing to justify its actions by pointing to nuclear threats, the Middle East once again sits on the edge of a wider war.

And for now, Trump’s warning and China’s fierce response have added another layer to a deeply complex situation.
