Security agencies across Kwara, Kogi and Ekiti states have launched a coordinated rescue operation following the abduction of a couple and four other individuals along the Kwara-Kogi border corridor.
The victims were intercepted by armed men while returning from an engagement ceremony. Their vehicle was waylaid along the interstate route, a flashpoint that connects multiple jurisdictions in Nigeria’s North-Central and South-West regions.
