Mr Joseph Adebayo Fadeji has formally taken charge as the fourth substantive registrar of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji (FEDPOLEL) in Ondo State.
The appointment follows a formal reception held on September 10 at the institution’s 1,500-capacity multipurpose auditorium. The event served as the official introduction of Mr Fadeji to the polytechnic’s academic and administrative community.
The ceremony saw a large turnout, including members of the institution’s management team, deans of various faculties, directors, heads of departments, registry staff, and the student body. The gathering marked a transition in the administrative leadership of the polytechnic.
Administrative leadership at FEDPOLEL
As the registrar, Mr Fadeji occupies one of the most critical administrative positions within the institution. The office is responsible for the management of the registry, the coordination of academic affairs, and providing essential administrative support to the Rector and the Governing Council. The registry handles vital functions ranging from student admissions and examinations to staff promotions and welfare, making its efficiency central to the polytechnic’s accreditation and operational standards.
