Kogi State Commissioner Asiwaju Asiru Idris has called for the Okun people to maintain a sense of togetherness to ensure continuous development within the region. He made this call following the successful hosting of the Okun Unity Dialogue (OUD).
The Commissioner expressed his support for the Okun Development Initiative (ODI) after the successful hosting of the Okun Unity Dialogue (OUD). He specifically commended Deacon Otitoju Olusuyi Aiyenigba and the executive members of the ODI for their leadership in organising the event.
Idris noted that the dialogue serves as a vital platform for addressing the various socio-economic challenges facing the Okun-speaking areas of Kogi State. He emphasised that sustained unity among the people is a prerequisite for achieving meaningful progress and regional stability.
