The African fintech company saw its revenue surge by 161%, reaching $536.3 million in FY2025. This performance represents a sharp turnaround from the 2024 financial year, during which OPay recorded a net loss of $50.98 million.
The shift to profitability follows a period of aggressive growth and expansion within the digital payments space. The company’s ability to scale its revenue while moving into the black highlights a critical pivot in its operational efficiency and market capture.
According to financial data reported by Nairametrics, the 161% revenue growth is the primary driver behind the company’s swing to a $72.47 million profit.
