Police in Suleja, Niger State, have arrested a church security guard in connection with the death of an 11-year-old girl. The arrest comes as part of an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the development, noting that the case gained traction after a missing-person report was filed at the A Division in Suleja on 20 September.
The victim, an 11-year-old girl, had been reported missing prior to the discovery of her death. Following the report, officers from the A Division commenced an investigation that led to the detention of the church guard.

The Suleja Police Command is currently working to establish the exact sequence of events that led from the initial missing person report to the death of the minor.
