Ima Niboro, the spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign, has called on Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike and several APC governors to end their ongoing public disputes.
Niboro described the friction between the political heavyweights as a “quarrel among political siblings,” suggesting that the disagreements should not distract from the party’s core objectives. He emphasised that despite their differing views on political strategy, both Wike and the governors are ultimately working towards the same goal: securing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The spokesperson made these remarks in response to heightened tensions and verbal exchanges between the FCT Minister and certain party leaders. The dispute, which has played out through various media platforms, has raised questions about the level of cohesion within the ruling party’s top leadership.
