Son of Prominent Nigerian Cleric, Bishop Oyedepo, Starts Own Ministry with Father’s Blessing
Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, the son of renowned Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, has launched his own ministry named “The Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries.” This move marks a new chapter in the legacy of the Oyedepo family’s religious contributions.
The announcement of the new ministry was made through a YouTube video titled “Unveiling of the Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries,” shared by Isaac Oyedepo on his social media account.
In a deeply symbolic and emotional moment, Bishop David Oyedepo, alongside his wife, bestowed blessings upon Isaac and his wife, Ayomitide, in the video. The ceremony was filled with profound prayers and affirmations, as Bishop Oyedepo imparted wisdom and guidance to his son.
Bishop Oyedepo, in his prayer, emphasized the importance of humility and impact in ministry work. He expressed his desire for Isaac’s ministry to be characterized by a significant impact rather than just good preaching. He highlighted his own life as an example, stressing that he never begged or borrowed, yet he never lacked, illustrating the virtues of faith and reliance on divine provision.
This development comes after clarifications made by Isaac Oyedepo in October 2023, addressing rumors about his relationship with his father and his position in the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel International.
He reassured the public that there were no complications in his relationship with his family or his commitment to the church, affirming his ongoing dedication to the service of the body of Christ.
