Nigerian politician and legal practitioner Kenneth Okonkwo has warned that opposition parties risk handing President Bola Tinubu an easy victory in the 2027 general elections if they fail to resolve their internal divisions and consolidate their forces.
Speaking on the political outlook leading up to the next national polls, Mr Okonkwo stated that the opposition could only mount a serious and credible challenge against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) by pooling its political structures, alliances, and votes behind a single consensus candidate.
